We are looking to remove and replace trees 105, 106, 107, and 108. They are all ash trees, and in the report from 20 years ago, the trees at the time were described as: 105 - Dead 106 - Triple stemmed at base, dominant crown class, crossing & rubbing limbs, cavity at limb/trunk junction - major deadwood on limb. Ivy clad. Nails in trunk. Major cavities in lower limb - hollow. Suppressed. 107 - Single central leader. Large longitudinal cavity at base - hollow. Heavily clad in ivy. Occluded cavity in lower limb. Nails in trunk. 108 - Triple stemmed at base. Ivy clad. Dominant crown class. Twisting & crossing limbs. Minor Deadwood. We would like to replace them with silver birch trees, however we are open to alternatives. The only reason we want to remove the existing ash trees is that they have ash dieback and aren't in very good condition. We would like to remove and replant better quality trees for longevity.
